DEMBA BA has sealed his move to Chelsea — with Alan Pardew insisting the striker leaves with Newcastle’s “blessing”.
Ba, 27, was earlier locked in talks with the Blues after their £7.5million bid triggered a release clause in his contract.
The Senegal star was left out of the Toon’s clash with Everton tonight.
And Pardew revealed the former West Ham hotshot has agreed terms with the West London club.
Pards said: “It’s done. He will go to Chelsea with our blessing.
“He has done fantastic for us and it’s not a bad thing, all the uncertainty is now done and we can move on.
“This club is bigger than any player for sure.”
Heading the other way is Lille’s Mathieu Debuchy, who is at St James’ Park tonight.
